I enjoyed creating last week’s post on DIY holiday wrapping paper so much that I wanted to make it into a continuing series all the way into December. This year I am smitten with everything glitter to even simple brown paper wrappings that you can design however you choose! Next week I will share some beautiful store bought wrapping papers, but today I wanted to showcase more DIY ideas below that are extremely easy to recreate yourselves.
I love the idea of using simple brown paper and spicing it up with shiny gold paper to create the gift receiver’s name.
At first glance I thought this was store-bought paper but then I realized it was a great and easy DIY that includes brown paper, a white stamp pad, and using the rubber eraser on the end of a pencil. Check out Mondocherry’s site for more pattern ideas.
Who doesn’t love buttons! I love the idea of twine wrapped around a single button in the middle as a personal touch to any gift.
Although this idea isn’t to wrap a gift, I had to share it. This would make for a great table setting or on a coffee table and super easy!

I am 8Balloons curator Julie Reif and I love all things paper and other beautiful creations. I am not the artist but rather the admirer.
